Email Flows let you define multi-step automated sequences triggered by your app via API. For example, when a user signs up, your app calls the WELCOME_SIGNUP flow endpoint — NotifiedBy sends a welcome email immediately, a tips email on day 3, and a check-in on day 7. You can add conditional branching based on recipient flags, configure wait steps, and trigger webhooks as actions. Flows are built and triggered by code, not a marketing team.

NotifiedBy is designed for transactional emails and automated app-triggered sequences — password resets, order confirmations, alerts, onboarding flows, and trial lifecycle emails. What we don't support is bulk marketing: no broadcast lists, no one-to-many promotional blasts, no campaign scheduling. If your email is triggered by something a user did in your app, you're in the right place. If you need to send a newsletter to thousands of subscribers, use a dedicated email marketing platform.

We review every account personally to protect our sending network from spam and phishing abuse. Open sign-ups attract bad actors who want to exploit shared infrastructure to send malicious email. By keeping things invite-based, we can maintain high deliverability for everyone on the platform.
